Who is Phylol?
Josh Wyatt was born in England on 30 September 1991, so under the zodiac sign of Libra and holding British nationality – known as Phylol, he is popular for his YouTube channel on which he mostly livestreams while playing the popular “League of Legends” video game.
Early life and education
He has brother whose online name is FoxDrop, and who runs a YouTube channel, and plays the popular “League of Legends” video game as well. The two were raised in England in a middle-class family, and started playing video games while they were still in elementary school.
After Phylol matriculated from a local high school in England, he decided to pursue his career of a gamer and a Twitcher, instead of chasing a college degree.
Phylol’s brother FoxDrop
FoxDrop was born on 7 May 1993, so making him two years younger than Phylol. He is popular for his “League of Legends” videos as well, and launched his YouTube channel on 4 October 2012, just a couple of months before his brother. He became popular because of his jungler (a person who plays a hero in the jungle during a “League of Legends” match) videos, and has so far gathered over 550,000 subscribers, and nearly 130 million views.
Career of a YouTuber
He started uploading videos on his YouTube channel on 26 February 2013, and part of his description reads ‘League of Legends videos to help you climb, learn, laugh and stay one step ahead!’ along with the configuration of his PC – he has so far managed to gather nearly 650,000 subscribers, and almost 200 million views of his videos combine, all of which are related to the “League of Legends” video game.
Another important part of Phylol’s career is his Twitch channel, but he doesn’t seem to be as popular on it as he is on his YouTube channel – he is currently followed by nearly 100 people and has only managed to gather just 3,400 views on all his livestreams. On Twitch, Phylol was also livestreaming while playing “Team Fortress 2”, aside from “League of Legends”.
Personal life and relationships
He is focused on his “League of Legends” videos, and if some of his fans ask him about his love life, he simply ignores the comments, and doesn’t even bother to respond.
Although he doesn’t talk about his girlfriends, he is currently rumored to be going out with another (female) YouTuber, who is said to be a “Fortnite: Battle Royale” player. The two are rumored to have met on the internet, and to be living in the same city and going out together, however, none of this has been confirmed by the popular YouTuber.
We had to say goodbye to our best friend last night. He's been a part of our family for 17 years and I couldn't have asked for better. I can barely remember a time without him. Videos and streams will be a little random for a while pic.twitter.com/R0sbWrYwU9

Other likes and interests
Phylol spends a lot of time with his brother FoxDrop, and the two are said to be quite sportive. They often play the popular “League of Legends” game together, otherwise they are outdoors spending time with their friends. They usually play basketball and often soccer as well. Phylol is a big fan of travelling, but can’t stay away from home for too long, as he always misses playing his favorite video game.
The brothers are both big animal lovers, but it is not known whether or not they have any pets.
In 2018, Phylol was accused of plagiarism by I Keep It Taco, who is also a “League of Legends” player and a YouTuber. He accused Phylol of stealing his videos as he played the character named Jhin 24/7 even before it became popular in the game. I Keep It Taco created a guide on how to play the Jhin character, and it managed to get to the front page on reddit; Phylol then used the content created by I Keep It Taco and uploaded a very similar video on his channel.
The issue was debated on reddit.com and after I Keep It Taco talked with Phylol, the popular gamer (Phylol) apologized, stating that he had learned from his mistakes, and that he won’t be doing it in the future. He has also stated that he stole the video for the first time, and did it only because he saw other YouTubers doing the same thing.
